A lot of lasts happened this month.
My last time helping with an On Oakland TV episode.
My last lunch in the Latin Room.
My last day as a SLUH student.
Despite all of that, I'd like to think I ended my high school career on a high note.
Yes, this is how I announced I was going to the University of Minnesota to multiple group chats. No I do not regret it in the slightest.
During the StuCo Billies, I became the proud recepient of the Mason Morris Award. I will cherish it always.
I officially finished and released my Capstone documentary about HEMA in St. Louis! Go take a gander!
The night before our last day of senior year, the class of '25 decided to have some fun with Dr. K's office 😈.
And after the last day, the whole Latin Room gang met up at Hi-Pointe and later a game night to commemorate the occasion. I love these dorks and would not be the person I am today without them. Despite being one of the Spanish defectors to the cause, I'd like to think I made my mark on M216.
In other news, I'm pretty sure my girlfriend's dad and I have the same clip on sunglasses from Walgreens, so that's fun.
I also got to see Lucy in the opening number of the St. Louis High School Musical Theater Awards! This is the only picture I have, but some of the songs the groups performed are still giving me chills.
The lads and I got extremely spiffy at prom, sadly without Lucy :(
And after that, it was finally all over. 4 years of my SLUH career finally came to a close with graduation. Even though I never could have predicted going to SLUH as an introverted homeschooler from across the river, I wouldn't trade the friends I've made and the experiences I've had here for the world. Roll Bills 4eva.
And surprisingly, that's about it for this month (aside from game nights and D&D not pictured here (aside from this one captured beautifully by Jack)).
My buddy Jack has a saying that your life gets infinitely more interesting once you start a blog, and while I'm not entirely convinced that's true, this blog has definitely gotten me to reflect on my life and the people in it a lot more. Anyway, catch you suckers next month, here's the usual tunes.
Bienvenue, (at least I think that's goodbye in French)
Mason
