Happy six month anniversary blog goers!
I'm starting to think adults got something right with the whole idea of time passing quickly once you're over. Summer vacation used to feel like an eternity, and now we're somehow a third of the way through it already.
If you can't tell, I don't like feeling old.
To kick off the month, Lucy and I went on an outing to the Art Museum. I was very excited for the Hall of Arms and Armor which I did not know existed up until this point.
Also, Tony Awards watch party at Ballpark Village! Taylor Louderman (the original Regina George on Broadway) was there!
After that, I started working Upward Bound at SLUH for the entirety of the rest of June, but I don't have any pictures from that which means it is mostly irrelevant. Middle schoolers are middle schoolers, and I now regrettably have heard "six seven" far too many times for one mortal mind to bear. Anyway, back to the fun stuff.
Game night at Alex's with the bros (now including Tom's sister Nora).
Also went to a City soccer game with Linus, Nolan, and Lucy!
Deer.
Went to see the new baby elephant at the zoo on a random Saturday. He's just a little guy.
The roommate is strong with this one.
I can finally call myself a real comics nerd now 🥹.
Also spotted this abundance of plague doctor plushies which I promptly sent a picture of to Jack.
Speaking of Jack, his grad party marked the end of the month. That picture is him with every pair of glasses that was at the party stacked on top of each other. It was not his idea.
And after another surprisingly short blog post, yet another month of the year comes to an end. As mentioned at the top of this post, I don't like thinking about time passing, probably accentuated by this month marking the halfway point of the year (along with the 50 year stretch between 2000 and 2050). Anyway, happy six months, and here's to many more!
Au revoir (that's definitely goodbye in French (see May for context)),
