How in the 9 Circles of Hell are we already a third of the way through the year?
After working Sophomore Retreat, I headed up to Marquette on the 5th to interview for their new Lovell Presidential Scholars Program to honor the legacy of former president of the university Dr. Mike Lovell. I didn't end up getting the scholarship, but it was still a fun time regardless, and I met some great folks.
We found this little guy at robotics one day. He's very orbular.
Then on Thursday the 10th I was able to see my girlfriend Lucy in DuBourg's production of Mamma Mia! She was fabulous, as always.
And then that weekend, it was off to the Twin Cities for me to go visit the University of Minnesota! We also got to visit the Mall of America, where my mom and I proceeded to wander around and accidentally order a giant pretzel.
I also saw some cool clouds while I was on vacation that kinda looked like dragons.
Our speaker for Astrophysics and Faith and Science one day was none other than Brother Guy Consolmagno, AKA the director of the Vatican observatory. Jack got a picture with him. One of the best talks I've heard in my life.
Is that a One Piece reference????
Prom!
And to round out the month, I ended up helping run sound for SLUH's 2025 production of Senior Follies.
Just. Why.
